Davenport, age 79 years young woke up in the presence of her Lord on Thursday July 29, 2010. Member of Dante Baptist Church. She leaves behind her Sweetheart of 60 years, James; son and daughter-in-law Allen and Suzette Davenport; grandchildren and spouses Ericka and Jason Moyers, Kayla and Wesley Hutchison and LCpl. Jarrod Davenport and Fiance�Œ KateLynn Downes of Quantico, VA. Mrs. Davenport is survived by brothers Gerald Dotson of St. Louis, MO and Calvin "JR" Dotson of Mccaysville, Ga. Mrs. Davenport is also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of NHC Healthcare St. Mary's. Funeral services will be held 8 pm Sunday in the Fountain City Chapel of Mynatt Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Murphy and Rev. Clyde Lakin officiating. Family and friends will meet Monday at 10:15 am at Bookwalter Cemetery for interment at 10:30 am. Pallbearers will be Jerry Cox, Sonny Hinkle, Jimmy Wolfenbarger, Jarrod Davenport, Jason Moyers and Wesley Hutchison.
