"MAMAW RENE" - age 73, of Heiskell, TN, passed away Friday, March 10, 2006 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. She was a faithful employee for 27 years in the Dietary Department of Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Dewey Edwards brother, Hobert Edwards sisters, Gladys Edwards and Betty Jones. Survivors include daughters, Karen and husband, William Rutherford, Linda and husband, Timothy McFall, and Lisa Johnson, all of Knoxville Kristi and husband, Bill, Bowen, of Rockwood, TN grandchildren, Ericka Somerville and Derek Pearson, Eddie and Nikki Wells, Kelly and Caleb Bowen, James Fox great grandchildren, Irving Somerville, Wesley Stockton, Zane Pearson, Little Eddie Wells sister, Mary and husband, Ron Courtney special friends Michelle Housley and Kelli Piper several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Saturday with funeral service at 8:00 P.M. in the Lynnhurst chapel with Rev. Doyle Bowen officiating. The family and friends will meet at Bookwalter United Methodist Church cemetery on Sunday for a 2:00 P.M. graveside service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Residential Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
