Sharkey (Hokie) Chambers, 66, of Maryville, passed away suddenly from injuries sustained in an auto accident October 18, 2012. He was a veteran of the National Guard and an avid softball player. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Judy Young Chambers; son and daughter-in-law, Charles E. and Kristie Chambers; daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Samuel Orr, Monica Brown, and Debbie and Ben Garibay; five grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Stacy and Cathy Chambers, Gail and Terry Johnson, and Brian Chambers; special little buddy Tristan, and several special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2012, with Rev. Danny Treadway officiating and cremation to follow. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday in the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Memorial Funeral Home: 610 Washington Street, Maryville, TN 37804 to help with funeral expenses.
