Bob Hal Evans, age 77, passed away July 10, 2009, at St. Mary's Residential Hospice in Knoxville, TN. He was born November 21, 1931 in Cocke County, TN, a son of the late Hal and Sue Ella (Wood) Evans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Vicki Evans Phillips. He is survived by two daughters Mary Evans Lowe, Cincinnati, OH and Angie Evans Meaders, Oak Ridge, TN, two grandsons Robert Phillips and Jesse Meaders, both of Oak Ridge, and two sisters Dottie Evans Whitehead, Bonita Springs, FL and June Evans Caperton, Columbia, TN. Mr. Evans was cremated. A committal service will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at the Dot Wood Family Cemetery in Edwina at 2 p.m. Sharp Funeral Home in charge.
