Johnnie Jack Mikles, of Seymour, died Friday, Oct. 8, at Asbury Place. Alcoa retiree and 25-Year Club member. During World War 11 he served as a rifleman in the 36th Infantry Division in the Rhineland and Central Europe. He was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. One of five children of Fannie and Luther Mikles to survive infanthood, he was predeceased by brother, Martin Mikles of Seymour. He leaves sister, Frances Reagan; and brother, Jim Norton Mikles, both of Seymour; and sister, Lora Hensley of Asbury Place; nephew, Mike Mikles, Seymour; and nieces, Sylvia Mikles Greer, Chattanooga, and Lois Reagan Thomas, Seymour; great-nieces, Jessie Mikles and Sarah Greer Richerson; great-nephew, Cody Mikles and Bill Greer. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 at Highland South Funeral Home. Graveside service at 3:00 Sunday Dr. Bill Greer officiating.
