Ronald "Jay" Dexter Arrowood Jr., age 23 of Sevierville, passed away March 1, 2015. Jay was a graduate of Sevier County High School. He was a very kind person that was willing to help anyone with anything. Jay was deeply loved by his friends and family and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Ann Bell Arrowood.
Jay is survived by his father, Ronald Dexter Arrowood Sr.; step-mother, Angie Williams; brother, Jessie Lauderdale and wife, Ashley; sisters, Amber Lauderdale, Staci Jett, and Zoe Williams; grandmother, Alberta "Peachy" Cody; grandparents, E.F. and Brenda Arrowood; grandmother, Loretta Johnson; grandfather, Jerry Bell; aunts and uncles, Melissa Messick and husband, Joey, Amanda Teaster, and Dwayne and Sabrina Underwood; special friend, Leroy Bittle; and many special nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday with the funeral service to follow at 7PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Hale officiating. The family will meet 12:15 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home to go in procession to Mountain View Cemetery for a 1PM interment.
