Harold Ellison, 71, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at UT Hospital after suffering a long battle with lung disease. He was preceded in death by his son, L.C. Ellison. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Sue Sharp Ellison; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Harold and Julie Ellison; sister, Lois Willocks of Friendsville; brother, Raymond Ellison of Maryville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Harold D. and Wilma Sharp of Maryville, Tim and Billie Russell, Darlene Sharp, Frank and Leon Greene, all of Lafollette, Glenn and Betty Gross of Bedford, Va.; grandchildren, Kevin Jr. and Dalton Ellison, Jeffery and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Jason; lots of nieces, nephews, and special friend, Sam Glass. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville with Rev. James Wells officiating. The family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday at Marble Hill Cemetery in Friendsville for graveside services. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Home.
