She was a member of the Mormon Church for many years. Often she opened her home in love to those in need of a meal, place to stay or good advice. Preceded in death by husband, J.D. Reed; daughter, Wilma Jean; father and mother, James H. and Ida J. Reagan Rogers; brothers, Rufus “Jim” and Hubert “Hoover: Rogers; sister, Paulene Davis. Survived by daughters, Billie Faye Miller and Linda “Liz” Kirk; son, Marvin Kirk; brothers, Bruce and Charles “Fuzz” Rogers; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; 1 great great great grandchild. A heart felt thank you to all care givers, special caregivers, granddaughter, Kaye Swayney, great granddaughter, Stephanie Swayney Buchanan; hospice, Blount Memorial Equipment Services, Community Baptist Church. She was loved and will be greatly missed by friends and family. Funeral service 8:00 PM Friday, April 10, 2009 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Bishop Richard Udey officiating. Graveside service 10:00 AM Saturday at Ellejoy Cemetery.
