Retired from Standard Knitting Mills. Preceded in death by husband, Richard H. Harris and Clarence J. Thress; parents, Taylor and Laura Cochran; brothers, Arront, Conway, J.B., and R.L. Cochran; stepson, Jack Thress; sisters, Dossie Lawson and Leona Daniels. Survivors: brother, Henry T. Cochran, Strawberry Plains; sisters, Cecile Simpson, Knoxville, Wanda Rouse, Corryton; stepsons, Clarence, Fred and Tom Three, all of Knoxville, Bob Thress, Morristown. Family and friends will meet at Highland Memorial Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Thursday for graveside and interment service at 1 p.m., Rev. Keith Stapleton officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Washington Pike Baptist Church, 1700 Washington Pike, Knoxville, TN 37917. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
