Edith DeLozier McCammon, lost her fight with cancer on September 3, 2011 and went to be with the Lord and her loved ones. She was born December 15, 1920 as the only daughter of Ben and Clara DeLozier. She was a long time member of Prospect Baptist Church. She and her husband frequently spent their winters in Naples, FL where they actively supported the East Naples Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Paul McCammon, a Dairy Farmer; her parents, her brothers, Elmore, Joe, and Harold DeLozier; daughter-in-law, Gwendolyn McMillan McCammon, two grandchildren, Charles Ray Kellar and Angela Gail McCammon Valentine; She is survived by her children, Clara Leah and husband, James Kellar and Paul Elmore McCammon, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; Services will be held at Prospect Baptist Church on Monday, September 5, 2011. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. with memorial service held at 2:00 p.m. led by Pastors Jimmy Webb and Ernest Condee followed by interment in the Prospect Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Prospect Baptist Church Valentine-McCammon Memorial for Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home.
