William C. Husta, age 78, of Milmay, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at the Presbyterian Hospital of Philadelphia on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, after a brief illness.
He was an auditor at Wheaton Glass and retired after 38 years of service. He was born and raised in Mullica Township (near Egg Harbor City) before moving to Milmay 50 years ago where he presently resided. He served his country in the Air Force Branch of service. He attended Milmay Bible Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother Rose Nelke Verdine and father John Husta.
He is survived by his wife Ruby Black Husta, and many special nieces and nephews, including Kathy Gunter (Dale), Phylis Philippon (Noel), Brenda Joyce Ford (Wendell), Peggy Cloak (Richard), Marilyn Bacon, Brandi Bacon, and Amy Hall, all of TN; June Anderson (Steve), Teresea Hirst of Delaware; Roger Black (Crissy), Van Ford (Francis), and Garrick Gunter, all of TN; brother-in-law Dee Black, Jr.; special friends Barbara and Larry Shumate, Doris and Pat Feresse, John Ford, Ed Churly, and Dewey, Farron, and RV Turner, Terry and Janese Rietti.
Services were held Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Ave., Egg Harbor City, NJ with Rev. Lee Cattell officiating. Interment was in the Atl. Co. Vets Cem in Estell Manor.
