He was preceded in death by his parents, Dillard and Lizzy Black; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy an Dale Gunter of White Pine, Peggy and Richard Cloak of Newport, Phyllis and Noel Philippon of Sevierville; sons and daughters-in-law, Mitch and Mischelle Black of Newport; Roger and Rose Black of Cosby; mother of his children, Martha Black.; sister, Ruby Husta of New Jersey; grandchildren, Amy Hall (Bo), Garrick (Michelle) Gunter, Micayla and Elijah Black; great-grandchildren, Santanna, Erika, and Kennedi Hall; Alyssa and Dominic Gunter; special nephews, Van and Roger; special nieces, Joyce and Marilynn; special friend, Bobby McKinney; also other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in Mane Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Leon Large officiating. Burial will be held 11:00 am Thursday September 25, 2014 in McMillan Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm Wednesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
