Kendrick, age 65, of Maryville, went to his Heavenly home Wednesday, June 8, 2011, Joe was a member of East Maryville Baptist Church and a retiree with AT&T/BellSouth, as well as a six-year veteran with the Air National Guard. He also enjoyed his post-retirement work with DENSO. Joe is preceded in passing by his parents, Robert E. and Loa Kendrick. Survivors include wife, Sue Kirby Kendrick; daughters Lavonya Parker and husband, Mitch, Alana Inman and husband Rob; grandchildren, Jared Garner, Jordan and Lydia Parker, Jasiel and Jett Inman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda Isbill and husband Fred, Gloria Tucker and husband Tommy; many nieces and nephews and special extended family members. Family will receive friends at 2 p.m. at River Oaks Community Church, Brown School Road, with a celebration service following at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the East Maryville Baptist Building fund, the Pregnancy Resource Center or the American Association for Cancer Research.
