Geneva Barnes McFalls Payne, age 67, of Del Rio, passed away August 22, 2012 at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Vennie Barnes; and her bothers, Ransler, Alfred, Doug, Shaffer, Hillard, Mariston, J. L, Leroy and Wade Barnes; sisters, Faye and Dollie Barnes; one infant sister and one infant brother. She is survived by her husband Richard Payne of Del Rio; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Alicia Payne of Bybee; daughter, Carolyn Caldwell of Del Rio; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Scott Strange of Newport; sister and brother-in-law, Genevieve and Junior Burns of Sevierville; grandchildren, Chris McFalls, Bo Stewart, Kristin Turner, Josh Stewart, Nicole Strange, Cheyanne Caldwell, Samuel Payne and Kayla Payne; great-grandson, Austin McFalls; and mother-in-law, Gracie Payne of Del Rio; along with many other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Manes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, August 24, 2012 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bill Murr officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee Cemetery, Del Rio.
