LLOYD, BRENDA REED - age 60 of Clinton passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at her home. She was a member of Second Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery and preschoolers for over 30 years. She was an avid Elvis collector and loved to read. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter & sister. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Reed. Survivors, husband, Calvin Lloyd of Clinton; son, Coby Lloyd of Clinton; daughters, Robbin Lloyd and Melanie Lloyd, both of Clinton; grandchildren, Shalee Burris & Erin Davis; Mother, Lorene Vanhuss Reed of Clinton; brother, Johnny H. Reed & wife Rhonda of Clinton; several special friends & family. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 28, 2009 from 6-8PM at Second Baptist Church, funeral service following at 8:00PM with Rev. George Williams and Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. Interment will be Saturday, August 29th at 11:00AM at Sartin Cemetery in Clinton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
