He is preceded in death by his parents, Hooper and Ruby Kelley; and brother, Alvin Kelley. He is survived by his wife, Judy Faye (Hance) Kelley; sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph (Joey) and Norma Kelley, Alfred (Dwayne) and Georgina (Gina) Kelley; grandsons, Joseph Kelley, Jr. and K C Gregg all of Newport; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia (Jenny) and Bill Heath, New Tazwell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Arlis and Chung Souk Kelley, Thorn Hill, TN, Gale and Phyllis Kelley, Merced, CA; sister and brother-in-law, Starr and Joe Mantooth, Newport; brothers and sisters-in-law, R K and Janice Kelley, , Daniel (Boone) and Brenda Kelley,; sister, Cathy Kelley, ; brother-in-law, Alfred Hance and his wife Anita, all of Newport; also a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 31, 2008 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Steve Downard officiating. Burial will be held 11:00 am, Friday, February 1, 2008 in France Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Thursday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
