He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Johnson and Magdalena Johnson Bryant; sister, Linda Harra; brothers Donald Leroy Johnson and Sammy Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hudson Johnson of Newport; daughter, Jennie (Michael) Dunn of Newport; son, Darryl (Denna) Johnson of Knoxville; grandchildren, Zach (Ashley) Dunn, Taylor Dunn (Jordan), Matthew Johnson (Solange), Jacob Johnson (Taylor), Sahra (Russ) Sutton, Josh (Nicole) Satterfield, and Daniel (Alicia) Miller; great grandchildren Cameron and Ethan Dunn, Keegan, Matdi, Noah, Madi, Jaxon, Aeyden, Ryker; sister, Mary Campbell of Newport; A very special family member Susan Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013 with the funeral service following at 2:00 pm in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Chuck Starks officiating.
