SMITH, BONNIE J. TAYLOR - age 84, of the Oral Community, passed away Saturday morning, May 4, 2002, at the Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center. She formerly attended church in the Oral Community, and was always ready to attend church services. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Smith; sister, Lena Mae Taylor Jenkins; parents, Gracie Ellen Eblen Taylor and Anderson Taylor. Survived by her daughter, Hilda and husband, Billy F. Wright of Lenoir City; sister, Jo Bohanan of Lenoir City; nieces, Jo Ann Babb of Lenoir City, and Teresa Johnson of Roane County; nephew, Bobby Jenkins of Lenoir City, and several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday with funeral services to follow at 3 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tony Curtis, Rev. Claude Bohanan and Rev. Homer Bohanan officiating. Interment will follow in the Oral Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Babb, Chuck Babb, David Johnson, Bobby Jenkins, Leon Smith, and Jr. Bohanan. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Pete Stimpson and his staff for the care they have shown for so many years. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City, is serving the family of Bonnie Smith.
