HELMS, MR. HARRY T. - age 78, of Maynardville, passed away 1:23 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at his home. Member of Miller's Chapel Methodist Church and Veteran of World War II. Preceded in death by infant son parents, Hendrix and Martha Helms sister, Stella Dugger. Survivors: loving wife of 57 years, Helen (Stooksbury) Helms of Maynardville sons and daughters-in-law, Clayton and Sharon Helms, Roger and Kathy Helms, Bobby and Gail Helms, Arthur and Angie Helms, all of Maynardville daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Clarence Brantley of Corryton, Louella and Ronnie Brantley, Martha and Lewis Arthur, Mary and Richard Livesay, Emma and Jim Bryan, all of Maynardville 19 grandchildren eight great-grandchildren brother, Dennis Helms of Maynardville, and several nieces and nephews. Interment 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Miller's Chapel Cemetery, Rev. John Mays, Rev. Jimmy Davidson and Rev. Richard Nicley officiating with Full Military Honors conducted by Volunteer State Veteran Honor Guard. Pallbearers: Dean Brantley, Mark Brantley, Jason Helms, Wayne Barkman, Hugh Helms, and Lynn Edmondson. Honorary Pallbearers: Terry Chittum, Keith Adkins, Jay Cline, David Province, Larry Helms, Steven Helms, Lee Helms, Hal Helms, Dewey England, Wayne England, Chester Butler.
