HELMS, DENNIS LEE - age 81, of Maynardville, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2003, at his home. Member of Milan Baptist Church, and Veteran of World War II. Preceded in death by wife, Mava Beatrice Archer Helms parents, Hendrix and Martha Helms brother, Harry T. Helms, and sister, Stella Dugger. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Mary Helms, Seven and Patty, Hugh and Ruthie, Lee and Donna, Hal and Patricia daughters and sons-in-law, Maribeth and Dewey England, Marlena and Johnny Foust, Pamela and Roger Foust, and Carlie and Tony Summers 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren nephew, J. Lee Dugger, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary and proceed to Miller Chapel Cemetery for an 11 a.m. graveside service with Full Military Honors conducted by the Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers: Dewey Lee England, Jimmy England, Clark Helms, Eric Helms, Lewis Helms, and Landon Foust.
