EDITH ELIZABETH JACKSON, age 87, of Strongsville, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2006, at Southwest General Health Center, Middleburg Heights, OH. She was born August 18, 1919 in Del Rio, TN. Beloved mother of Irma Jean Davis, Edna M. Bragg, Margaret A. Castle (Keith), Roger A. Jackson, Linda K. Gill, Carol S. Topping (Harold) and Teresa L. Jackson. She is also survived by daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Jackson; sister of Bessie Cashen, Gladys Brooks, Jennie Mae Metcalf, Anna L. Jenkins (Wade) and Hattie M. Bailey; grandmother of 14; great grandmother of 17 and great great grandmother of two and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Eugene Jackson; her parents, Allen Teague and Mary Minerva Jane Stokely; Dana Varner and James Arrowood (her great aunt and uncle who raised her); children, Tony C. Jackson, James O. Jackson and Lola D. Rivera; her sons-in-law, Lewis Davis, Victor R. Rivera and Jobe E. Gill; her sister, Grace Evelyn Stoddard and her brothers, Millard James Orr, Kenneth Clay Orr, Floyd Ledford and George Duncan Ledford. Family will receive friends at WAITE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, BRUNSWICK CHAPEL, 3300 CENTER ROAD (RT. 303 AT I-71) on SUNDAY from 2-5 PM. Services at the funeral home on Monday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Franklin Brown. Following Services burial will be in Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick, OH.
