Oliver Arnold “Jersey” “Pap” “Jerry” Arms-age 91 of Bybee, born July 1, 1922, passed away January 5, 2014. He retired from American Enka/BASF after 57 years of service with 50 of those years being perfect attendance. Preceded in death by parents Henry and Allie Arms; brothers Estes “Pete” Arms, Robert Lee Arms; sisters Dorothy Jean Arms Andes, Betty Ruth Arms Smith. Survived by step-son Darrell Owens of Oklahoma; brothers Henry Jr. Arms of Morristown, Jessie Wayne Arms of Whitesburg, Oscar James Arms and wife Anna Ruth of Bybee; niece Brenda Ball of the home, great-great niece Nikki Williams; several nieces and nephews; special friends Terry, Debbie and Heath Holt of Grainger County; Trish Haney of Baneberry; special friends, girls of Hayes Hill Café. Visitation services will be Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 12 Noon till 2 p.m. at Josephs Chapel Free Will Baptist Church on Kesling Road Bybee, Tennessee with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Eugene Hollifield officiating. Interment services will follow in Josephs Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Arms family
