Loretta Brown Sutton, age 78, of Morristown, formerly of Newport, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at Lakeway Regional Hospital in Morristown. She was preceded in death by her son, Willie G. Sutton; parents, Joe and Zora Brown; brother, Leonard Brown; sisters, Viola Gates, Dovie, Mexie, and Louella Brown. She is survived by her granddaughter, Lacy Sutton, of Morristown; daughter-in-law, Ann Sutton, of Morristown; sister, Stella Wyatt, of Cosby; brother, Manson Brown, of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2007, at Brown Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating. Interment will be in Tritt Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home is in charge.
