Ella Joy Headrick McGill age 83 of Lenoir City, passed away Monday, December 3, 2007 at U. T. Hospital. Ella was a member of Dixie Lee Baptist Church. She served her country in World War II as an Army nurse with the (WACS). She loved her crafts and flowers. Ella was preceded in death by her parents, William H. (Bill) and Bessie Connatser Headrick; husband, Andy Earnest McGill Sr. and son, Andy Earnest McGill Jr. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Joyce McGill of Greenback; daughter, Marolyn J. McGill-Wagner of Lenoir City, daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Brian Cross of Farragut; 5 grandchildren; special friends, Terri Swinney and Diane Coleman. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services t0 follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Clarence Gresham and Rev. James Clayton officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 am. Friday and proceed to Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Steve Peek officiating. Full military honors will be conferred by Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is serving the McGill family.
