He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sylvia Marie-Ogle Boring; 3 brothers, Charles Thomas Boring, Clyde Andrew Boring, Jimmy Boring and Walter Lee Boring; parents, Lonnie C. & Florence Boring. Mr. Boring was a member of New Providence Primitive Baptist Church in Maryville, TN. Survivors include a daughter, Katena Nicole Boring-Chambers of Chattanooga; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ann & Jack Wilson and Audine Cooper, all of Maryville, TN; grandchildren, Shaylynn Boring and Shanna Boring-White; nephews, Gunner Wilson, Claude Cooper, Jr. and David Cooper; niece, Teresa Cooper. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Boring will be held, Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with _________ officiating.
