Billie Joe Courrier, age 69, of Lenoir City passed away peacefully at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville on Tuesday, July 14, 2009. Billie Joe was a former employee of Jacks Auto Parts. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Franklin and Rosice Mae Courrier; wife Goldie Faye Courrier; son Billie Ray Courrier; brothers James Thomas, Marvin Ray, Howard Clyde, Grover Lewis, and sister Mary Florence. He is survived by his son Billie Wayne Courrier; sister Marie Courrier Tinsley; brothers Benjamin Franklin and his wife Lynne Courrier, and Michael Edward Courrier. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Palmer officiating. Interment will follow in the South Holston Cemetery. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is serving the Courrier family.
