GRAY, LUCILE VERDA - age 94, of Sweetwater, Tenn., McMinn County, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2001, at Sweetwater Hospital. Ms. Gray was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Walter Clarence Gray; parents, John and Jessie McDaniel McConkey; granddaughter, Susan Kirkpatrick. Survivors include sons, Wallace Gray and Bob Gray, both of Sweetwater; daughters, Geneva Robinson of Niota, Tenn., Josephine Dixon and Joyce Gregory, both of Sweetwater, and Alice Montooth of Cookville, Tenn.; brothers, L. C. McConkey and Homer McConkey, and sister, Mary Rhodes, all of Sweetwater; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren. Family and friends will meet at Sweetwater Valley Memorial Park, inside the Memory Chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday for the Commital Service because of the inclement weather, Rev.
