CLEVENGER, ELIZABETH (LIZ) ANN MCCONKEY - of Halls, devoted wife, mother, and Grand Mommy departed this life unexpectedly on 11/24/07. She was a member of Black Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Liz was so loved and cherished by her husband of 50 years, James Clevenger, daughters Donna Egan, Deanna Lowery, son-in-laws Jeff Egan and David Lowery, and three grandchildren, Greylan James Egan, Gavin Jeffrey Egan, and DeLaney Elizabeth Lowery who were the lights of her life. She was the daughter of Erma "Granny" McConkey and the late Earl McConkey, special sisters Eileen Eubanks and the late Ruby Vineyard Tindell, brothers Don and Pete McConkey. Several special nieces, nephews, and in-laws from both the McConkey and Clevenger families which she loved so much. No words can express our loss of such a beautiful, loving, caring, and giving angel on earth. A special thanks to the St. Mary's ICU Medical Staff physicians and all the support from our dear friends and family. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Monday night, Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with Dr. Bruce Marston officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel @ 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and proceed to Halls Memory Gardens for interment services at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive friends 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. www.mynattfh.com
