William Lee “Bill” Orr, age 49 of Newport passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, November 16, 2007 He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Henry “Dick” Orr; sisters, Margarette Nan Orr, Marie Orr Daniels; brother, Henry Orr, Jr.; grandparents, Minnie Teague Orr, Tilda and Millard Orr, Nannie Bell and Moody Shelton; nephew, Wallace Talton, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Orr of Newport; daughters, Billie Richards and husband Joe of Winslow, Maine, Jamie Orr of Del Rio, Sheena “Bean” Ramsey of Hot Springs, NC and Christina Orr of Newport; sons, Eric Johnson of Newport, William Lee Orr, Jr. of Del Rio and Brandon Orr of Del Rio; sisters, Jenny Mae Worley of Parrottsville and Mary Orr Shelton of Marion, Indiana; brother, Brian Smith of New York; sisters-in-law, Irene Medford and Alice Johnson; brothers-in-law, Kenny, Bobby, David, Clarence, Paul and Leory Johnson, Jr. all of Newport; grandchildren, Emilee and Joseph “Joey” Richards of Winslow, Maine, Ariel Ramsey, Jasmine Ramsey, Shawn Christopher Simpson, Colten Ramsey all of Hot Springs, NC, Gracie Orr and Christian Orr of Newport; special nieces, Lynda Parks of Parrottsville, Lisa Gunter of Marion, Indiana, and Tasha Sepulveda of Newport; very special friends, George Randall Stokley, Bobby Bogle, Jamie Bogle and Brandon Hall. Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2007 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the funeral services.
