He died on Monday, November 12, in Maryville. Survivors include two sisters, Barbra Jean Abbott and Betty Sue Hale, both from Knoxville, as well as his close friend Dr. James A. Bloy of Maryville, and many nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 25 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 314 West Broadway in Maryville. His body has been contributed for medical research.
