FORD, FRED F. age 86 of South Knoxville, passed away September 2, 2007. He was a member and deacon of New Hopewell Baptist Church, a machinist at RobertShaw Controls, and veteran of WWII serving with the U.S. Navy. He was an Usher for 35 years at Neyland Stadium. Preceded in death by: wife, Emily Ford; parents, William A. and Verla Ford; brothers, Don, John "Bub"; sister, Annette Atchley. Survived by: son, Randy Ford and wife, Cindy of Collierville; daughter, Robyn Ellis and husband, Chuck; grandson, Kevin Ellis; sisters, Elizabeth "Lib" Arnett, Billie Sue Morgan. Interment will be at 10am Tuesday, at New Hopewell Cemetery. The family would like to express their appreciation for the care that Fred and Emily received from the staff at Mountain Brook Village in Sevierville.
