DAVIES, HELEN ELIZABETH - age 94, of Knoxville, died Thursday December 23, 2004. She worked at Lawson McGhee Library for 15 years and was retired from Lutz Insurance Co. after 32 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward and Jessie Lee Lonas Davies brothers, Bill, Edward, and Lloyd Davies and a sister, Virginia Ogg. She is survived by her sister Annette Jane Davies from whom she received excellent care as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank St. Mary's Hospice Program and June Melton and Martie, RN for their excellent love and care. Funeral service 8:00 P.M. Monday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Chaplain Ken Thornton officiating. Family and friends will meet at New Gray Cemetery Tuesday for a 2:00 P.M. interment service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends 6:30-8:00 P.M. Monday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel. [S1] U. S.
