  [S4] Knoxville News-Sentinel (Tennessee), 20 Jun 2003. ESSLINGER, GEORGE - age 92 of Knoxville, died at 2:01 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at his home. Preceded in death by: wife of 56 years, Suella Clift Esslinger sons, Fred and Wayne Esslinger and granddaughter, Janet Esslinger. Survived by: son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Nancy Esslinger of Knoxville. Family and friends will meet at 11:15 a.m. Friday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11:30 a.m. graveside service and interment with Rev. Wayne McMillian officiating. Full military honors will be provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Churchwell Avenue Baptist Church 501 E.
