Member of First Baptist Church of Knoxville, Eastern Star #69 where she was former chaplain, a volunteer for Agape House and former president (1987-88) of the Knoxville Women's Club. She was preceded in death by husband, Lawrence W. Towe, Jr. father, J. Chattman Easterday brother, Lawrence C. "Larry" Easterday. Survived by mother, Marie Easterday of Knoxville beloved canine child, Tori siblings & spouses, Jewell Slover of Loganville, Ga., Dorothy Lee of Charlotte, NC, Frances & Kenneth Robinson of Knoxville, Carolyn & Jerry McMurry, Jerry & Barbara Easterday of Knoxville, Donna Hyatt of Grayson, Ga. and Charles Easterday of Knoxville several nieces & nephews and many dear friends. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Monday December 15, 2003 with the service to follow at 7 p.m. Reverend Bruce Robinson and Reverend Troy Cody officiating.
