(March 3, 1952 - December 17, 2008)
Everett, Karen, age 58, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at U.T. Medical Center. Miss Karen was a much loved teacher at Promises Daycare. Karen had a special love for all children. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her two daughters and grandsons. She cherished every moment she had with them, not letting them know how bad she felt. She always put her kids first and her self last. She loved all of “her kids” that she taught at Promises Daycare. When her health was bad they could always lift her spirits up. She will be missed by everyone close to her. She was the best sister and friend and will be forever missed by her sister Sandra Loveday. We will miss her wonderful sense of humor and her sweet smile. But we know in our hearts she has a bigger smile now and she is not in any pain. She taught her kids about guardian angels so we who loved her now have a special angel watching over us. Karen is preceded in death by her dear father, Wilbur Gregory; special aunt, Aunt Clara Heaton; dear uncle, Clyde Gregory. Survived by daughters, Kristen and husband Paul Guner, the joy of all our lives, Melissa Everett; grandchildren, Eric and Austin; mother, Bonnie Jones of Maryville; sisters, Linda Smith, Sandra and Steve Loveday of Clinton; brother, Wilbur Lynn Gregory Jr. and wife Jo of Knoxville; nieces, Kendrea Smith, Lynn Gregory; very special friends. Amy Davis, Trey Davis, Annetta Bellinghousen, Rhonda Editington, Brandy Carmon, Maryann Frank, Rhonda Erjaves, Teresa Spradlin. Funeral service 2:00 pm Saturday December 20, 2008 at Hillcrest Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville. As a final request of my dear sister Karen, please sign a donor card. The life you save may be a cherished sister, or loved one. (865)982-6041 www.millerfuneralhome.org
