Mary Carolyn Frye age 67 of Powell was born on September 13, 1940 and went home to be with the Lord on Monday November 12, 2007 after battling a long illness. She was a long time member of Sunny View Baptist Church and in the most resent years Atlantic Avenue Baptist Church. She retired from John H. Daniel Clothing Co. Preceeded in death by: mother: Eula Mae Hill, grandparents: James R. Loveday, Sr. and Grace Jane Loveday, sister and brother-in-law: Bobbie and Carl Neff, brothers: Jackie and Buddy Hill, Ernest, Troy, Roy and James R. Loveday, Jr.. She leaves behind loving daughters: Kim Byrum, Ginger Quarles and Tami Johnson, cherished grandchildren: Kristy Stacey, Brandi Jenkins, Bridgette Gosnell, Timothy “Bo” Byrum, Danielle, Maci and Haley Grace McBee, adored great grandchildren: Brianna and Jordan Stacey, Armenda and Dacey Jenkins, Jaiden and Chance Gosnell, sisters and brothers-in-law: Beckie and Vernon Nason, Wanda and Gene Irwin and Kay Miller, special sister-in-law and best friend: Chris Loveday and sister-in-law: Annette Loveday, many special nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Dr. Victor Salter and all the loving nurses on the 3rd and 7th floors at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital. Service 8 pm Tuesday Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. Chris Daughtery officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Wednesday at Bookwalter Cemetery for interment service at 11 am. Family will receive friends 6:30 to 8 pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
