J. Ervil Yearout, 92, of Maryville, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009. He was a longtime member of Grandview Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for many years. He was also a 32 Degree Mason and a 50-Year member of New Providence Lodge #128. He was a member of the 25 Year Club of the Aluminum Company of America and retired in 1974 after 40 years of service. After retirement, he enjoyed doing lawnmower and small motor repair. Preceded in death by: Loving Wife, Louise Brown Yearout; parents, Elmer & Mae (Carver) Yearout; Brother, Daniel (D.A.) Yearout; Sisters, Ruth Morton, Naomi Brewer Corda and Wanda Amburn; Special Niece, Ava Diane Yearout. Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Carol & Nathan Patterson of Morristown; Granddaughter, Natalie (Michael) Mohr of Knoxville; Great-Grandson, Conner Nathaniel Mohr of Knoxville; Brother & Sister-in-law, Wayne & Maycle Yearout of Maryville; Sister & Brother-in-law, Margaret & Earl Giffin of Maryville; Sister, Dena Early of Knoxville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Terry Russell officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 3:45 PM, Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
