ESTLENA SPANGLER - age 75, of Knoxville passed away Thursday, November 22, 2001 at Baptist Hospital. She a was a member of Hendrons Methodist Church. Mrs. Bruce is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert Bruce; her parents, Bryant R. and Lora Barbara Spangler; brothers: Edward L. Spangler, George A Spangler, Robert L. Spangler. Survived by: brothers, Leon Spangler, Gerald Spangler, and David Spangler; sisters, Leola Norton, Elzora Thompson, and Beatrice Whitted; and a host of nephews and nieces. Pallbearers will be her nephews: Steve Spangler, Ed Spangler Jr. Kevin Spangler, Robert Thompson, Kenneth Norton, Charles Richie. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 25, 2001 from 6-8pm at Highland South Funeral Home with a funeral service to be conducted at 8pm following the visitation with the Rev. Lester Mullins and Rev. Danny Hill officiating. A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, November 26, 2001 at 11am in Highland South Cemetery.
