Agnes Elizabeth Jones Correll , age 83, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2005, at the home of her daughter, Jo Ann Starkey. She was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lula Jones; three brothers; one sister; and her infant daughter, Sandra. She is survived by her husband, Jim Correll ; daughters, Karen Correll , of Newport; Sherry Kerr, of Dandridge; and Jo Ann Starkey, of White Pine; sisters, Lucille and Ruth; grandchildren, Kim Crittenden Holdway, Alicia James, Jon Tucker, and Beth Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Nathanael, Noah, and Grace Holdway, Tyler and Austin Correll , James and Jacob Jenkins. Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at Point Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Lynn Mercer officiating. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Point Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church prior to services. In lieu of flowers, Agnes asked that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, (alz.org) or to the Point Pleasant Cemetery Fund. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
