He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Cross, and sister, Elizabeth Tiellman. He is survived by his wife, Shannon Sutton Lawson; children, Macy Jane Lawson and Caden William Lawson; father, Floyd Lawson; sister, Kellie Abert; brothers, Eddie Lawson and Jamie Lawson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Vonore Baptist Church, with Rev. Casey King and Rev. Dennis Cagle officiating. The interment will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday at Vonore Baptist Church.
