LESLIE, BRENDA GRACE -age 54, of 3028 Hwy. 411, Madisonville, passed away peacefully at 8:35 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2008 at Sweetwater Hospital after a brief illness. Confined to a wheelchair in all of this life, "little Bren's" faith was her strength and joy. Her purity of heart was communicated by beautiful brown eyes and ever-present smile. She was always cared for at the family home by her loving and dedicated mother. She had a unique love for all the kids. "A special thank-you to my dear mother, sister, brothers and all in-laws." Preceded in death by father, Pryor B. Leslie; brothers, Donnie Reed Leslie, David Franklin Leslie. Survivors: mother, Mae Mangis Leslie, Madisonville; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Ed Layman, Sevierville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ross and Pam Leslie, Kenneth and Sandy Leslie, all of Maryville, Gene and Faye Leslie, Jim and Zelma Leslie, Bob and Gloria Leslie, Roy (Slick) and Donna Leslie, Brenda T. Leslie, all of Madisonville; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral 1:00 p.m. Monday, New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Rev. David Koopman, Rev. Danny Strickland officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
