Ray was retired from Union Carbide in Loudon with 28 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the Navy. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Alva Dailey Arden; sister, Mildred Arden Stamey; brother, Marvin Arden. Survivors: wife of 52 years, Jeanette King Arden; daughters and sons-in-law, Adele and Jack Holt of Lenoir City, Ava and Danny Morton of Maryville; grandchildren, Scott Holt and wife Shannon, Melissa Holt; brother, Alex Arden; sisters, Lucille Mills and Alice Arden of Lenoir City; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Friday followed by funeral services at 7 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel Rev. Floyd Lambert officiating.
