Lucille Jeanette Arden, 79, of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2008 at her home. She attended Freedom to Worship Pentecostal Church in Maryville. Jeanette was a loving homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her husband, Ray Richard Arden; sisters, Ella Mae Pruitt, Ruth Taylor and Mary Armstrong; brothers, Joe Paul Packett and Bill "Little Bill" Packett. Survived by daughter with whom she made her home, Adele Holt and husband, Jack of Lenoir City and Ava Jo Morton and husband Danny of Maryville; grandchildren, Scott and Shannon Holt, Melissa and Jason Brookshire; great granddaughters, Chloe Holt and Lauren Brookshire; sister, Georgia Petty of Lenoir City; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. in the Click-Hawkins Chapel with Rev. Scott Holt and Rev. Floyd Lambert officiating. Family and friends will gather at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services. Click-Hawkins Chapel, 102 B Street, Lenoir City is serving the Arden family.
