He was employed by Ace Products for several years until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Evelyn Willis Laws, and brother, Fred Laws. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Laws, Hartford; son, Stacy Laws, Hartford; sisters, Enis Black, Hartford, and Emma Lee Ingle, North Carolina. The family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Edward Shepherd officiating. Internment will be in Laws-Green Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home is in charge.
