FRANKLIN, William C. ''Bill''
Born in Tennessee on August 15, 1914 passed away on October 10, 2006 in Folsom, CA. He was a railroad engineer for 40 years and was involved in numerous business enterprises in Northern California. He and his wife moved to a farm in Loomis in 1970 where they lived for 34 years. He was active in service and fellowship groups, 32nd Degree Mason, Odd Fellows, Fraternal Order of Eagles and S.I.R.S. He was an outdoorsman, he hunted and fished throughout the United States and Canada. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Ruby, and his son, Thomas. Survived by his sisters, Genevive Huff, Martha Graham, Emma Edgett and Henrietta Sharp; his sons, Jack Franklin of Fallon, NV, Joseph Franklin of Orangevale, CA and Jerry Franklin of Greenback, TN. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, October 16, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Cochrane's Chapel of the Roses, 103 Lincoln St., Roseville. Services will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 10:00am, also at Cochrane's Chapel of the Roses. Internment will take place at the Rocklin District Cemetery.
