Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Tillman and Hattie Swanger-Green; husband Howard Haney, infant siblings, Pauline and JoAnn Swanger, siblings, David Swanger, Jimmy Swanger, Shirley Swanger-Adams, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Hattie Haney; and brother-in-law, Dean Haney. Alice is survived by her sons, David (Yaulanda) Haney of Bybee and Robert (Amber) Haney, of Johnson City; grandchildren, Austin and Trent Haney, Irlie Kate Haney and Cherie Smith; siblings, Betty Smelcer of Newport, Margaret Ellison of Newport, Glen Swanger (Cathy), of Del Rio, and Sharon Turner, of Del Rio; brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry Haney of Newport, Wayne (Nellie) Haney of Del Rio, Danny (Tammy) Haney of Del Rio, Shirley James of Canton, NC and Nellie Swanger of Del Rio; several nieces and nephews; special friends Betsy Accord and Bobby Blazer. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday, July 10, 2016 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Wayne Haney officiating. Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, July 11, 2016 in Stokely Cemetery, Black Branch Road, Del Rio.
