GREENEVILLE--Mable Lee Ottinger Rader, 82, of Greeneville, died Sunday evening, June 7, 2009, in Johnson City Medical Center Hospital.
She was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church and the VFW Ladies' Auxiliary.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Gerald and Mary Ann Rader, of Greene County; two daughters and one son-in-law: Andra Dobson, of Knoxville, and Vickie and Merrill Andrew, of Greeneville; four granddaughters: Amy Bolton, Amanda Weems and Angie Broyles, all of Greene County, and Britney Dobson, of Knoxville; six great-grandchildren: Bret and Katie Bolton, Matthew and Lexie Weems and Chase and Charlie Broyles, all of Greene County; one brother and sister-in-law: Clyde and Nadine Ottinger, of Greene County; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Ila Ruth Lafollette, of Greeneville, and Wilma and Ted Shelton, of Cocke County; four sisters-in-law: Elsie Hensley and Barbara Ottinger, of Greeneville; Betty Ottinger, of Cocke County; and Luella Hensley, of Arizona; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and three special friends: Peggy Crum, Maude Hayes and Ferne Goodson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Rader; her parents, Solon and Zula Ottinger; four brothers: Carter and Ted Hensley and Linton and Junior Ottinger; and two sisters: Valerie Balch and Mary Shepherd.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Reformation Lutheran Church with interment in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Pastor Rick Ohsiek will officiate. The body will be taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes preceding the services.
Pallbearers will be Stacy Bolton, Travis Weems, Keith Ottinger, Kip Kreeger, David Andrew and Tony Williams.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Reformation Lutheran Church.
