Native of Elkmont, Tennessee, and resident of Athens most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Dewey and Maude Parton Swaggerty and was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Watt in June, 1988. She was of the Baptist faith and an avid flower gardner. Survivors: four daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Danny Walker of Tampa, Fla., Jane and Larry Jelley of Athens, Connie Queen of Duluth, Ga., and Tish and Kip White of Knoxville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Lynette Watt , Jr. of Kennesaw, Ga., Steven Watt and Allan Macleod of Athens, Ga., Walter Ray Watt of Decatur; sister, Edna Cox of Knoxville; brother, Alvin Swaggerty of Knoxville; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; special son-in-law, Steve Queen, and several nieces and nephews, and pet dog, Sugar.
