He was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle. He served in the 101st Airborne in the U.S. Army during WWII in Germany and France, and retired from Y-12 after 33 years as a machinist foreman. Preceded in death by Mother; Bonnie Key, brother-in-law; Rev. Ron Bailey, and first wife Helen B. Williams. Survived by wife Ann Williams, children; Vikki and husband Bob Hanshaw, Linda and husband Chris Crutchfield, Ron and wife Connie Williams, grandchildren; Missi and husband Brad Whaley, Chase Crutchfield, Lindsey and husband Robert Summers, Brad Williams, Tanner Williams, great-grandchildren; Kalyn Whaley, Colton Whaley, Bailee Summers, Breelyn Summers, sisters; Carol Bailey, Dorothy Oxendine, brother; Junior Key, and many special friends. Visitation will be from 5:30-8 pm Tuesday at Weavers with service to follow at 8 pm. Pastor Allen Johnson, and Pastor Ed Parton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Wednesday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Tabernacle Mission Fund, 6922 Seaver Rd., Knoxville, Tn. 37909.
