SIMS, RUTH ETTA GAMBLE - age 79 of Louisburg, Kansas, formerly of Maryville, TN, died Wednesday, August 18, 1999, in Kansas. She was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church and had lived in Kansas for the past three years surrounded by numerous friends at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis H. Sims, Sr. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Curtis H. Jr. and Linda Sims of Louisburg, Kansas; granddaughter, Pam Sims; grandson, Curt Sims; great-granddaughter, Hali Sims, all of Kansas; sisters, Edith Garner, June Roberts, both of Maryville, TN, Reba Duggan of Jefferson City, TN; brothers, Dick Gamble of Maryville, TN, Jay Gamble of Knoxville, TN; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James R. Green officiating. The entombment will follow in Grandview Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home, Maryville, TN.
